A Night of Community, Connection, and Meaningful Impact
On February 20, we gathered not just for a fundraiser, but for a purpose. Held in support of LEV27’s mission to help keep families housed and stable in Bucks and Montgomery Counties, this event brought together neighbors, advocates, and new friends who all believe in one thing: showing up for each other.
A Full House, a Big Heart, and a Strong Start
The evening opened with a powerful and motivating speech from our special guest, Bill Spadea, who reminded us all why community action matters. His message set the tone for a night filled with generosity, laughter, and real conversations about the challenges so many face—and how, together, we can make a difference.
From there, the room was buzzing. Whether it was bidding on raffles, connecting over food and drinks, or simply being present, every attendee brought something to the table.
Fundraising Results: $5,000+ Raised and Growing
The final tally is still being finalized, but we’re proud to share that we’ve raised over $5,000—a major win for our mission. These funds will go directly toward preventing homelessness for families right here in our region. That could mean rent assistance, utility coverage, or helping someone get back on their feet with job or resource support. The impact is real and immediate.
Shoutouts That Matter
No event like this happens without a behind-the-scenes crew making it all look easy:
- Hannah Louise Jesse deserves a huge thank-you for stepping up and leading with strength and grace—especially while one of us (ahem, Dan) was unexpectedly in the emergency room. She made sure every detail was handled and every guest felt welcomed.
- Zalman Blecher and Pamela Smith, thank you for your consistent, thoughtful leadership on the board.
- Tbone Jones, your work on the LEV27 website and marketing materials helped make the event look as professional as it felt—clean, clear, and compelling.
- And once again, to Bill Spadea—your time, presence, and words meant the world to us and to the people we serve.
The Bigger Picture
Events like these aren’t just about raising money. They’re about raising awareness, deepening relationships, and reminding each other that no act of kindness is too small. Every dollar donated and every hour volunteered goes right back into our local community.
Whether you gave at the event, volunteered, or simply showed up—we see you, and we thank you.
Help Us Keep Going
If you couldn’t make it to the fundraiser but still want to be part of the mission, there’s still time to contribute.
Let’s keep this momentum going. Together, we can make sure that more families get the stability, support, and dignity they deserve.
